🚨 A Kiki Public Service Announcement 🚨

Well, friends. Tonight I discovered something.

Apparently, while I have been happily writing, posting and wondering where some of my usual blog buddies have been… YOUR COMMENTS HAVE BEEN SITTING IN SPAM AND PENDING FOLDERS.

Yes. Spam.

Some of you have apparently been talking to me for quite some time while I have unknowingly been ignoring you.

I AM HORRIFIED. 😂

Please know that I would never intentionally ignore a comment. Your words, stories, encouragement, laughs and love are one of my absolute favorite parts of this little corner of the internet we have created together.

So if you commented and heard nothing but crickets from Kiki, please accept my sincerest apologies. It wasn’t me. It was the folder. And I am absolutely blaming technology because well, I’m not that strong in tech.

I am slowly digging through the comment graveyard now and finding little treasures from all of you that I never knew were there.

Thank you for reading. Thank you for commenting. Thank you for coming back. And most of all, thank you for all the loyalty and love you continue to send my way. I’m never leaving you!

Apparently some of that love just took a detour through Spam. ❤️

Carry on.

And check your folders, people. 😂

  1. This happened to me too, and I’m not sure why. I just checked my spam folder and found a single comment there. Now, I have to check the spam folder every time. Some people were telling me that my comments were thrown to their spam folder.

  2. 🙂 isn’t it crazy how comments can slide through our sites like that? I swear it has something to do with the themes and how WP collates the sites for every single page. I can’t describe it but it’s such an atomized approach that I often find myself wondering if it really is efficient or they just want to keep it that way because of their existing business partnerships, I mean, not that I’ve got a problem with it! 3. Oh I know that feeling! I had to filter some stuff out last year, and I am afraid some things got or may still get pulled into it. And it is possible I don’t even see some things since at the time, I had to start with a narrow lens and widen it to solve for the issue. I’ve not had the heart to open it back up.

    1. Yes! For the most part I do most things here on my phone. Right now I’m on desktop while at work but this is WordPress. The phone app is Jetpack. I’m not sure what I’m missing on both platforms!

      1. I know some things I can’t see as well when on the tablet vs. the desktop, or they act differently. I would imagine it is the same with the phone, so I try to check that stuff while on the desktop.
